The world we live in is changing rapidly due to digital developments. Many people may not be making the most of opportunities available online that could help improve their lives. With that in mind, Perth & Kinross Council Housing Services started the Digital Inclusion Project, which aims to help tenants of Perth & Kinross Council to access the many opportunities available online. Being digitally included allows more opportunities for people, including keeping in touch with friends and family, finding out information, shopping and comparing prices, applying for employment and making financial transactions amongst other things. If you need some help to get online, use your phone, tablet or personal computer, contact Kevin Heller at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 01738 476239. Cred...

Art installation at it's best - the new lighting on the Perth City Council building. LED lighting means less power than the traditional spots that were trained on the building for many years. An awesome addition to the Perth skyline and a GREAT initiative by Lisa Scaffidi the mayor of Perth.
https://www.expedia.com/Perth.d180013.Destination-Travel-Guides A modern city, Perth is the gem of Australia’s west coast and the capital of Western Australia. This friendly metropolis boasts pristine beaches, clear water, and plenty of coastline – not to mention an abundance of nature and mineral resources. Start your day of Perth sightseeing with a walk through Kings Park, which is larger than New York’s Central Park and home to the Western Australia Botanic Garden. More than 3,000 species of Western Australia’s plant life, including vibrant flowers, are on display here. Most of the park consists of bushland, which means lots of wildlife and quite a few walking trails. After a morning of reflection in the park, head over to the Swan Bell Tower to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. ...

Had the chance to fly to Perth for work but it felt like I was on a holiday every single day! It was my first time to travel outside Asia. I could move to Perth and settle down there for good. Ahh, beach everyday! *fingers crossed*
Perth is a must visit if you're thinking of a trip over to Western Australia, the beautiful coastline and Perth attractions make it the ideal place to take family, friends or your partner. The city is easy to navigate, with everything fairly close, Hay and Murray Street is home to big name shops, cinemas and the GPO. Kings Park and Botanic Gardens are a beautiful place for a stroll and offers some great views of the city. The Botanic Gardens features over 3,000 species and the Rio Tinto Naturescape is great for the kids. The coastline is one of Perth's draws, and if the heat is getting to you head for a dip at the golden sands on Cottesloe Beach, City Beach or Scarborough. The Margaret River region runs down the Western Australian coastline for over 80 miles, and stretches inland for a further 20. Busselton marks the beginning of one of Australia’s most scenic drives, Caves Road, which gets its name from the incredible limestone caves which honeycomb the region. Caves Road winds inland, through picturesque villages and historic timber towns, before arriving at the region’s main settlement, Margaret River. Surrounded by coasts on three sides, and enjoying virtually rain-free summers, as a wine-growing region, Margaret River has been compared to France’s famous Bordeaux region. Cruise from cellar door to cellar door, sampling some of the most exciting Chardonnays, Shirazs and Cabernet Sauvignons on the planet. At Margaret River’s northern end is Cape Natur...
The best things in life are (almost!) free, and that is certainly the case if you head to Perth in Western Australia. The tours take up to 2 hours, and you can join in or leave anywhere along the way. You can also do the walking tours yourself by picking up the walking tour map and comprehensive guide from the i-City kiosk. The walks and trails intercept the city's free CAT bus servic...

BBC Scotland's coverage of the Perth and Kinross Westminster Parliamentary By-election held following the death of Sir Nicholas Fairbairn. The by-election, on 25th May 1995, was won by the Scottish National Party's Roseanna Cunningham with a majority of 7,311. The full results are available on Wikipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perth_and_Kinross_by-election,_1995 The win was historical for the SNP as in the upcoming general election in 1997 the SNP went on to hold the seat, the first time the Party had ever held a seat it won in a by-election at the subsequent general election. Sadly a number of the people who appear in the coverage are no longer with us and given the fantastic performance of the SNP in the 2015 Westminster General election I post this video as a tribute t...
Tour Scotland video of a cloudy day drive from Kinross through Milnathort all to way to Perth, Perthshire. The name Perth comes from a Pictish word for wood or copse. There has been a settlement at Perth since prehistoric times, on a natural mound raised slightly above the flood plain of the Tay, where the river could be crossed at low tide. The area surrounding the modern city is known to have been occupied since Mesolithic hunter-gatherers arrived more than 8000 years ago. Nearby Neolithic standing stones and circles also exist, dating from about 4000 BC, following the introduction of farming in the area.
